Stadtbad Mitte

Swimming in the Olympic grandeur of the last century is possible not only outdoors in the Olympiabad, but also in the heart of the city. Near Nordbahnhof, on an ordinary street behind a normal facade, lies the Stadtbad.

It is not hypermodern, but it does exude the grandeur of German architecture from the last century. After the somewhat rickety changing rooms, the large 50-meter pool is a huge surprise. Even more beautiful is the roof structure: because it consists mainly of glass, it is pleasantly bright inside.
