Lido

Kreuzberg is a good area for rock and indie in Berlin. The Privatclub is under Schlesisches Tor U-Bahn station, the Privatclub is nearby, punky SO36 as well. If you go down the Schlesische Strasse you can find the Arena and the Festsaal Kreuzberg.

But before that you will find the Lido. In the old days it was a cinema, in between it was a rehearsal stage for theatre companies. Thank god it is a place for concerts and club nights again since 2006.

Indie organisations such as Karrera Klub have occasional club nights here. The Lido also has a nice beer garden annex winter garden annex smokers room.
