It’s hard to comprehend how big this place is. The former military training school is a village in its own right, with school buildings, houses, apartments and garages for military equipment.

The Russians left in 1992, then nature took command. You can walk around for hours, if you don’t get caught by security that is. Because several buildings are being renovated (especially since 2024), so walking around carelessly is becoming more and more difficult. Despite that, it is a magnificent place, where you can still find old newspapers from the nineties, or murals for school kids. As if life ceased here from one day to the other. Monumental.
