Konzerthaus

That the Gendarmenmarkt one of the most beautiful squares of town is, is beyond any discussion. The Konzerthaus is one of its eyecatchers.

It’s a classic space for classical music. Whereas the Philharmonik or the other traditional opera houses have stands, the Konzerthaus has an even floor with only some special boxes to the side. It makes the Konzerthaus a rather traditional, slightly stiff experience. During the break you have magnificent views over the square though from the balcony.
