Dorotheenstadt

Paris has Pere Lachaise, Berlin has Dorotheenstadt cemetery. Which is a lot smaller than its French counterpart. It is in fact even hidden from the side of the Chausseestrasse by another French cemetery.

Dorotheenstadt isn’t only well-known because of the beautiful graves, it is also the place where a lot of famous Berliners found their last resting place. Bertolt Brecht and his wife are probably the most well-known. In 2015 the cemetery got a great new pavilion.
