So, Cafe Engels might be a bit of an outsider. It’s located in the ever-more-popular Schillerkiez area, thus the local hipsters flock to this place during the day for the pricy coffee. With their MacBooks under their arms of course.

Those hipsters are a bit in conflict with the shabby interior, including a real pinball machine. In the evening hours the pub is much more relaxed: for a couple of euros you can have a decent warm meal, and the brownies are absolutely divine.
