The former crematorium in Wedding has been converted into a fascinating co-working space and cultural venue. The central octagonal hall plays host to usually restrained, mainly acoustic concerts, fitting to the sacred atmosphere with the former niches for storing urns.
Adjacent is a good, not too cheap restaurant, and some offices. But the main attraction will be the former corpse basement, hidden under the lawn in front of the building. From 2019 on it will be a concert venue for 800-1000 visitors, though it will be interesting to see whether people can celebrate in a place with such a history.
