Neukölln, Parks | Geen reacties

Tucked away in the southern part of Neukölln, between the busy and multicultural Hermannstrasse and Karl Marx Stasse, is one of the most beautiful and smallest parks of the city. Built in 1910 in neo-baroque style.

If you see the Körnerpark, you would expect a huge castle in the immediate vicinity. But the park is surrounded by nondescript residential buildings from the fifties and by two other parks (Thomashöhe and Lessinghöhe), that make this part of the neighborhoood despite the distance to the city centre one of the more inhabitable ones.
