Kino International

The Karl-Marx-Allee is one of the city’s most famous streets, together with Unter den Linden and the KuDamm. It was and still is a remarkable and beautiful architectural project, of which the Kino International is one of its biggest attractions.

The cinema has been restored in its former glory and plays a central part in the Berlinale film festival. Monday night it plays host to the famous MonGay parties (penalty points for the wordplay indeed), and the New Years Eve parties belong to the classics of this location.
