Bauhaus Archiv

Museums, Tiergarten | Geen reacties

It’s a question of love it or hate it: in my case ‘hate it’ by the way, if anyone would be interested. But the Bauhaus Archive is the place to discover antipathy or feelings of love for this design- and architectural movement.

The building itself on the edge of Tiergarten is already remarkable. White everywhere, and with the strict shapes that are so typical for Bauhaus. Inside is an elaborate collection of works from famous names such as Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Walter Gropius and Mies van der Rohe (architect of amongst others the Neue Nationalgalerie).
